Toprail Planning Guide
Standard Toprail components that are supported from slotted uprights are either 600mm or 750mm wide. Each slotted upright is 30mm wide. The centre to centre dimension is therefore either 630mm or 780mm.

Some products such as worktops and sinks are shown 1230mm wide or 1530mm wide, these are spanning two 600mm bays or two 750mm bays with the slotted uprights in the centre allowing for other components to be added above or below.

 Additionally, Toprail offer some shelves 350mm wide between slotted uprights. Here, the centre to centre dimension is 380mm.

If required, Toprail can offer shelves in special sizes. These are manufactured to order and therefore delivery lead times will be longer. Shelves up to 750mm wide have been independently tested to meet British Safety standards on safe working loads. Shelves exceeding this width have not been tested.

It’s simple to design the right Toprail system for any given wall space. Just use this handy planning guide. Everything is worked out for you.

As standard, Toprail components come in module sizes of 600mm or 750mm width. These are usually fitted into our 30mm wide slotted uprights.

 

 The table below shows you how many components and uprights you will need to fit your wall space. These are standard fittings usually available ex-stock.
